We don't always shoot our limit but we do always see our limit. It is always a good time.

I hunt 2 U-Guide farms the last 2 years and I am signed up to do the same next year !!

Same year. Same hunters, Same dogs. Essentially the same location. What's the difference then? The habitat. Chris and all the UGUIDE property owners "leave some" for the birds. They leave some feed and the leave some cover. It is amazing the small amount of cover necessary to have a good population of wild birds.

The best example of this is our party of 5 spending 3 days hunting public ground within a few miles of our designated UGUIDE properly. Those 3 days produced multiple flushes of roosters and hens but we only harvested 4 total birds. 1.3 per day. Then we spent the next 3 days hunting the UGUIDE property. The same group of 5 ended up harvesting just over 30 birds. 10 per day. A couple of us even shot limits of roosters.

The farmers that follow the plan with U-Guide-- grass, food plots (milo is the best )winter cover this means pheasant habitat !!!! This plan = great pheasant hunting !!! U-Guide takes the work out of planing a SD hunting trip, when you travel 1200 miles each way to get to pheasant hunting area you want as little complications as possible, U-Guide makes this possible !!!! Thanks Chris and the outstanding SD farm families that work with and host the U-Guide hunts !!!

I have known Chris at UGUIDE South Dakota Pheasant Hunting since 2006 and hunted at numerous of his UGUIDE camps. The UGUIDE philosophy is a private fair chase wild bird hunt with a focus on pheasant habitat. The UGUIDE product is a private self-guided hunt for your group, so your group calls the shots and hunts the property as it's your own for the week. At the UGUIDE camps, we have had days we limited out in a couple of hours and other times where we hunted from 10am to sundown (shooting hours) and only harvested a few birds. So don’t expect a canned hunt. This hunt is a great hunt for the hunters who want a unguided hunt, cook your own meals and hunt with your own dog and have like-minded individuals with a focus on those elements. This is about as authentic of a pheasant hunt as you can get. With that said, some years will be better than others depending on the pheasant hatch. There are no guarantees, but what is guaranteed is 1st class pheasant habitat with the sole focus on the birds, the habitat, the dogs, the hunt and good friends. Ryan

I'll start right off and say that hunting at UGUIDE is not easy. It is hunting wild pheasants that get educated quick. We've been to 3 different UGUIDE properties over the last 5 years (a couple we have been to twice). What a difference habitat makes.

I've been hunting pheasants for over 50 years and Uguides Pheasant Camp is by far the best place we have ever hunted
